Superior Features

At Pride Homes, we don’t just claim to build a quality house; we set the definition for quality so that our clients, employees, subcontractors and our suppliers know and understand our standards and expectations. As a result, you get a better home, built to last, that will provide years of satisfaction and enjoyment to you and your family.

Following are just some of the standard features that Pride Homes brings to the table. These features set us apart from other home builders in the area and ensure that your home is ‘built with excellence’.

TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Pride Homes is proud to be one of the few builders in the area that offers a two-year warranty on all construction work that does not already possess a manufacturer warranty.

ENERGY STAR PARTNER
energy starEnergy Star is the government-backed symbol for energy efficiency. It identifies 35 types of products that are energy efficient without sacrificing the features, quality and personal comfort that families expect. Energy star homes are: comfortable and quieter, have lower utility costs, a higher home resale value and help contribute to a cleaner environment for the future.

CERTIFIED GREEN BUILDER
Green BuildPride Homes is one of only a handful of certified green builders in the Lincoln area. Green built homes are resource efficient homes with special care given to lot orientation, conservation of energy and water resources, plus the use of recycled materials and construction products that require less energy to manufacture with the goal of improving air quality.

SIZING THE SYSTEM
Sizing the system for your home environment by the use of a ‘Manual J’ offers extreme accuracy. By entering the makeup of the windows, doors, insulation, room sizes, individual heating loads (i.e. refrigerator) and direction the house faces, a computation of a heating and air conditioning load for each room is produced.

VARIABLE SPEED BLOWER
The blower of the furnace is constantly circulating air throughout the home. Mixing the basement air with the first floor air creates comfort at any location within the home.

SOLID WOOD SHEATHING
7/16” oriented strand board sheathing covers all of the exterior house walls, offering the highest regard to strength and wind resistance.

TYVEK HOUSE WRAPPING
Using the correct house wrap under the siding, as well as the correct steps of installation, is crucial in completely omitting water penetration, as can be an issue with Nebraska’s climate.

STRUCTURED WIRING
Homes wired with an ‘AmpOnQ’ system with the use of cat5 wiring and other high speed cables will network and accommodate satellite connections, high-speed internet access and digital television.
